  If you like beer, you go here. No question about it. It's the best place for good beer within 20 miles, the German food is good enough for me but don't expect 5 star quality. This is one of the top 3 places to eat in Oxford, a must go.

  Never got to actually eat here. Service/ seating was so terrible we walked out. We were a party of two. Put our name on the list and told it would be around 20 to 30 minutes wait for a table. Ok, no problem. Saturday night, it's normal.
  Took a look around the place and saw at least 4-5 open tables. A party of 4 walked in right after us, and were seated right away. OK...I asked the hostess if that party had a reservation, she said no. Another party of 4 walked in as we were standing there looking at the menus and open tables... Waiting for our table to open up I guess. They were sat right away as well. I asked the hostess if they had reservations, she said no. I asked why are they getting sat while we are standing here looking at open tables and NOT even on a wait? And plenty of open tables. She said regardless if there's a wait or not, they won't sit small parties at tables that accommodate 4 or more.
  Obviously they don't want your business if you're not a party of four or more, have plenty of open tables, and not even on a wait list. We left and said we are going somewhere that actually wants business.
  
  On a side note the menu and food didn't even look that great. High prices for what appeared to be average German style food.
